3 作目『MASKS』で高い評価を得た「16chテープによるアナログ録音」×「デジタル環境でのミキシング」を今作でも継続。アナログの温度と解像度、そして現代的なミックスの奥行きを両立した“ハイブリッド”サウンドを徹底追求した一枚。Studio Dedeにて、CD, LP, 配信音源用と、それぞれに専用のマスタリングが施されている。
昨年のオーストラリアツアーで磨き上げられたオリジナル曲に加え、レコーディング・セッションから生まれた新曲も収録されている。タイトル『The Great Noon』は、ニーチェの「大いなる正午」に由来。古い価値観や虚無感から解放され、自らの生を全肯定する——その精神が最高潮に達する瞬間を象徴する言葉として、Banksia Trioの今を鮮やかに照らす。

Following the critical acclaim of their 3rd album, MASKS, the band continues their signature approach: combining 16-channel analog tape recording with digital mixing. This album represents a thorough pursuit of a "hybrid" sound—striking a perfect balance between the warmth and high resolution of analog audio and the expansive depth of a modern mix. To ensure the highest quality across all listening environments, dedicated mastering was meticulously crafted at Studio Dede specifically for CD, LP, and digital streaming formats.
The tracklist features original compositions polished during their Australian tour last year, alongside brand-new pieces born directly from the recording sessions. The title, The Great Noon, is inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophical concept. Liberated from outdated values and nihilism, it represents a total affirmation of life—symbolizing the exact moment this spirit reaches its zenith. It is a phrase that vividly illuminates Banksia Trio in the present moment.
